Tile by tile: how we work
In detached and terraced houses in areas such as Barri del Castell, Barri del Sant Crist and Barri de la Cisa bathrooms tend to be larger and suit large-format tiles, even floor to ceiling. Over underfloor heating we use a deformable adhesive and keep perimeter joints so the tiles can move with the heat.
With large-format tiles, common in bathrooms in areas such as Santa Anna, Tió and El Remei, we back-butter each piece with C2 adhesive and use levelling clips to avoid lipping between tiles. Before we start, we check the wall with a straightedge.
We have been tiling bathrooms for over 20 years: we measure up, send you a written quote and, once the last tile is grouted, give the tiles a thorough clean. We also work in neighbouring areas: Premià de Mar, Vilassar de Dalt and Teià.

Frequently asked questions
01Bathroom tiling in Premià de Dalt: which areas do you cover?
We do this work in Premià de Dalt, in areas such as Barri del Castell, Barri del Sant Crist, Barri de la Cisa, Can Figueres, Can Balet, Santa Anna, Tió and El Remei, and also nearby: Premià de Mar, Vilassar de Dalt and Teià. Before starting we visit the property and prepare a detailed written quote.
02Can new tiles go over the old ones?
Sometimes, if the old tiles are firmly bonded and flat, using an adhesive for tile-on-tile. Bear in mind you lose a little space and the edges around doors and windows change.
03Do large-format tiles work in a small bathroom?
Yes, and they often help: fewer grout lines make the room feel bigger. They just need very flat walls and careful setting out of the cuts.
