Façades in Platja d'Aro: the condition we usually find
Near the sea, in areas such as Platja d'Aro and Fenals, salt air and sun break paint down sooner: blisters, chalky powder on the surface and rust on railings. We use siloxane or silicate paints, which repel water and let vapour escape from the wall.
In light wells and on party walls in areas such as Castell d'Aro, Fenals d'Amunt and Vallvanera we work on ropes without scaffolding, covering windows, washing lines and air-conditioning units. Each finished section is checked before we move down to the next.
We have been painting and repairing façades for over 20 years; after the visit, the community receives a written quote ready for its meeting. We also cover nearby areas: Sant Feliu de Guíxols, Santa Cristina d'Aro and Calonge i Sant Antoni.

Frequently asked questions
01Façade painting in Platja d'Aro: which areas do you cover?
We do this work in Platja d'Aro, in areas such as Platja d'Aro, Fenals, Castell d'Aro, Fenals d'Amunt, Vallvanera, S'Agaró and Mas Nou, and also nearby: Sant Feliu de Guíxols, Santa Cristina d'Aro and Calonge i Sant Antoni. Before starting we visit the property and prepare a detailed written quote.
02What paint do you use on façades?
Usually silicate, siloxane or acrylic exterior paint, depending on the substrate. It must be breathable so moisture in the wall can escape without causing blisters.
03Is scaffolding needed to paint a façade?
It depends on the height and access. Low houses only need a scaffold tower or a platform; for buildings with lightwells or on narrow streets we often use rope access.
04Can the residents' community choose the colour?
Yes. We apply samples on the façade itself so residents can see them in real light. It is worth checking whether the town council sets colours for that area.
