Fitted wardrobes in Platja d'Aro: what we look at in the space
In flats near the sea in areas such as Platja d'Aro and Fenals damp can leave musty smells and mould inside wardrobes on outside walls. We set the carcass off the wall, use moisture-resistant board for the back and suggest doors with vents or ventilation slots.
For the doors in areas such as Castell d'Aro, Fenals d'Amunt and Vallvanera we use lacquered, wood-veneered or mirrored panels on aluminium frames or concealed hinges. We set the gaps between doors so they run evenly from top to bottom.
After the visit you receive a written quote with sizes, doors and interior; we fit with the floor protected and leave the bedroom clean. Other nearby areas we cover: Sant Feliu de Guíxols, Santa Cristina d'Aro and Calonge i Sant Antoni.

Frequently asked questions
01Fitted wardrobe installation in Platja d'Aro: which areas do you cover?
We do this work in Platja d'Aro, in areas such as Platja d'Aro, Fenals, Castell d'Aro, Fenals d'Amunt, Vallvanera, S'Agaró and Mas Nou, and also nearby: Sant Feliu de Guíxols, Santa Cristina d'Aro and Calonge i Sant Antoni. Before starting we visit the property and prepare a detailed written quote.
02Sliding or hinged doors?
Sliding doors need no room to open and suit tighter bedrooms. Hinged doors show the whole interior at once and blend more neatly into the wall.
03Can a fitted wardrobe go where there is no alcove?
Yes. We build the recess with a plasterboard partition or by closing off a corner, then fit the wardrobe inside. We plan it during the visit around the bedroom layout.
04How deep does a fitted wardrobe need to be?
Around 60 cm to hang clothes comfortably. With less depth, pull-out front rails work, or the wardrobe can be given over to shelving.
