Replacing radiators in Palau-solità i Plegamans: how we approach it
In areas such as Palau-solità, Plegamans and El Castell, where winters bite, the heating runs for months on end. We size each radiator for the coldest nights, the room's orientation and the state of the windows, neither falling short nor overdoing it.
In houses in areas such as Les Cases Noves, La Sagrera and Can Riera, we put thermostatic valves in the rooms and a lockshield on each return. In the room with the wall thermostat we leave a manual valve, so the two controls don't work against each other.
We have over 20 years in heating work; after the visit you receive a written quote, and we work with floors and furniture protected. We also cover nearby areas: Mollet del Vallès, Santa Perpètua de Mogoda and Caldes de Montbui.

02Can I replace the radiators without changing the boiler?
Yes. If the boiler works well, we only change the radiators and adapt the connections. We do check that the total output matches what the boiler can deliver.
03Which radiators work with a heat pump?
Low-temperature models or larger ones, because a heat pump sends cooler water around the system. At the visit we size each one.
04Does the wall need opening up?
Usually not: we reuse the existing connections. We only open the wall if a radiator moves or the new one has a different distance between tappings.
