From old aluminium to a window that insulates
In houses on residential estates and flats in areas such as Pedró, Sauleda and Molí de Vent, large balcony doors open onto terraces exposed to wind and rain. We choose sliding or casement units with good weathertightness and pay close attention to the sill and threshold seal.
In areas such as Calella de Palafrugell, Llafranc and Tamariu we help you choose between aluminium and uPVC to suit the façade: a colour and profile that match the rest of the building, and a casement, tilt-and-turn or sliding opening depending on the space in front of the window.
We come to measure, explain the frame and glazing options and prepare a detailed written quote; when we finish we leave floors and sills clean. We also work nearby: Mont-ras, Begur and Regencós.

Frequently asked questions
01Window replacement in Palafrugell: which areas do you cover?
We do this work in Palafrugell, in areas such as Pedró, Sauleda, Molí de Vent, Calella de Palafrugell, Llafranc, Tamariu, Llofriu and Santa Margarida, and also nearby: Mont-ras, Begur and Regencós. Before starting we visit the property and prepare a detailed written quote.
02Which suits me more, aluminium or uPVC?
Both insulate well when they have a thermal break and double glazing. uPVC usually insulates slightly more; aluminium allows slimmer frames and a wider range of colours. At the visit we explain which fits your facade and how you use the room.
03Does replacing a window mean building work on the wall?
Usually not. We remove the old window, fit the new one in the same opening and finish the edges inside and out. The wall is only touched if the frame is badly deteriorated or the opening changes size.
04Can the shutter box be replaced too?
Yes. We can fit an insulated box with an access cover, which closes off one of the main routes for cold and noise around a window.
