A new floor without building work in Palafrugell
In houses on estates and in areas such as Pedró, Sauleda and Molí de Vent, shut for part of the year, damp can rise through ground-floor slabs. We test the base, lay a vapour barrier and choose a laminate suited to those conditions.
In houses and flats in areas such as Calella de Palafrugell, Llafranc and Tamariu the skirting is fixed to the wall, not the floor, so the laminate can expand. We use lacquered MDF or a board matching the planks, with mitred corners and sealed joints.
