How we replace doors in Palafrugell
On residential estates in areas such as Pedró, Sauleda and Molí de Vent, owners often replace every door at once, including those upstairs. We match the model, handles and colour across the house and fit privacy locks in bathrooms and bedrooms.
For bathroom and bedroom doors in areas such as Calella de Palafrugell, Llafranc and Tamariu, we set handles and hinges at the same height throughout and fit privacy locks with an emergency release. In kitchens we suggest glazed leaves to bring in more light.
Over 20 years' experience in renovation: we measure, quote in writing and fit the doors without leaving dust or sawdust behind. We also replace doors nearby: Mont-ras, Begur and Regencós.

Frequently asked questions
01Interior door installation in Palafrugell: which areas do you cover?
We do this work in Palafrugell, in areas such as Pedró, Sauleda, Molí de Vent, Calella de Palafrugell, Llafranc, Tamariu, Llofriu and Santa Margarida, and also nearby: Mont-ras, Begur and Regencós. Before starting we visit the property and prepare a detailed written quote.
02Can I replace just the door leaf and keep the frame?
If the frame is straight and in good condition, yes: we make a leaf to fit the opening. If it is out of true or the floor level changes, a complete door set is the sensible choice.
03Does replacing doors involve building work?
Usually not. The new frame is fixed to the subframe or wall and the architraves cover the joint; at most, a little paint touch-up is needed.
04Which doors keep out more noise?
Solid-core leaves with a seal in the frame. Hollow-core doors are light but let more sound through, so we keep them for rooms where privacy matters less.
