Replacing or motorising shutters in Palafrugell
In houses on residential estates in areas such as Pedró, Sauleda and Molí de Vent, large windows and terrace doors carry heavy shutters exposed to the wind. There we fit a motor sized to the weight and reinforced slats, and make sure the rails are firmly fixed.
When we replace shutters in areas such as Calella de Palafrugell, Llafranc and Tamariu we also look at the box cover: if it is broken or uninsulated, we fit an access cover with a draught seal. That way the axle can be reached without breaking anything and the box stops being a cold spot.
We have over 20 years in joinery and window work: we check every shutter on the visit and give you a written quote. We also replace shutters nearby: Mont-ras, Begur and Regencós.

Frequently asked questions
01Roller shutter installation in Palafrugell: which areas do you cover?
We do this work in Palafrugell, in areas such as Pedró, Sauleda, Molí de Vent, Calella de Palafrugell, Llafranc, Tamariu, Llofriu and Santa Margarida, and also nearby: Mont-ras, Begur and Regencós. Before starting we visit the property and prepare a detailed written quote.
02Can I motorise a shutter I already have?
Yes, in most cases. We replace the axle with a tubular motor and run power to a switch next to the window or set up a remote. If the shutter is very heavy or the slats are damaged, it makes sense to change them at the same time.
03Which slats insulate more, aluminium or PVC?
Foam-filled aluminium slats keep out more heat and noise and stand up well to strong sun. PVC is light and works well on small, sheltered windows.
