From bath recess to easy shower in Palafrugell
In houses on residential estates and beach flats in areas such as Pedró, Sauleda and Molí de Vent, many clients want a large level-access shower to walk into barefoot from the terrace or pool. We check the waste level and, if there is not enough depth, suggest a slimline tray only a few centimetres high.
In bathrooms in areas such as Calella de Palafrugell, Llafranc and Tamariu the wall left by the bath is made good with salvaged tiles, a similar ceramic or a large decorative panel that covers the wet zone with no grout lines. It is a good moment to add a thermostatic shower column or a recessed niche for bottles.
Send us a photo of the bath and we will arrange a visit to check the waste and walls; you then receive a written quote with tray, screen and labour listed separately. We also convert baths in nearby areas: Mont-ras, Begur and Regencós.

Frequently asked questions
01Bath-to-shower conversion in Palafrugell: which areas do you cover?
We do this work in Palafrugell, in areas such as Pedró, Sauleda, Molí de Vent, Calella de Palafrugell, Llafranc, Tamariu, Llofriu and Santa Margarida, and also nearby: Mont-ras, Begur and Regencós. Before starting we visit the property and prepare a detailed written quote.
02Do all the bathroom tiles have to come off?
No. We remove the band of tiles around the bath and the panel at the front; the rest of the room stays if it is in good condition.
03Can the tray sit flush with the floor?
It depends on the height of the waste and the floor slab. On the visit we check whether a flush fit is possible or a low-profile tray on the floor is wiser.
04Which tray suits older people?
One with a very low edge, a non-slip surface and room for a grab rail or fold-down seat fixed to a solid wall.
