Sliding doors in Olot: the wall comes first
In 1960s to 80s flats in areas such as Vila Vella and Eixample Malagrida, the original varnished timber doors on small bathrooms and bedrooms are often swapped for painted sliders. We check the partition, usually hollow brick, and open it only to the width of the leaf.
