LED lighting in Olot: how we plan each room
In 1960s to 80s flats in town centres, in areas such as Vila Vella and Eixample Malagrida, it is common to find fluorescent tubes in the kitchen and halogens in the bathroom. We replace them with LED panels, downlights and strips, and add lighting under the wall units.
In kitchens and bathrooms in areas such as Sant Miquel, Bonavista and Pla de Dalt we use neutral light of around 4000 K over work areas and warm light elsewhere. Under wall units the strip faces forward so it neither dazzles nor casts shadows on the worktop.
