Replacing a worktop in Montgat, step by step
In houses on residential estates in areas such as Nucli Antic, Sant Joan and Montsolís, we are often also asked for the worktop of the outdoor kitchen or terrace barbecue. There we use porcelain or granite, which stand up to sun, salt air and temperature changes without fading.
For the worktops we fit in areas such as Les Mallorquines and Colònia Argentina, the template is taken once the base units are level and with the sink, tap and hob models to hand. That way the cut-outs match each appliance exactly and nothing needs trimming on site.
On the visit we measure, check the units are level and talk you through the materials; the quote follows in writing with every item listed. We also replace worktops in nearby areas: Badalona, Tiana and El Masnou.

Frequently asked questions
01Kitchen worktop replacement in Montgat: which areas do you cover?
We do this work in Montgat, in areas such as Nucli Antic, Sant Joan, Montsolís, Les Mallorquines, Colònia Argentina, Sant Maurici, Can Siurana and Les Costes, and also nearby: Badalona, Tiana and El Masnou. Before starting we visit the property and prepare a detailed written quote.
02Can the worktop be replaced without changing the units?
Yes, if the units are level and in good condition. We check they can take the weight of the chosen material, especially stone or thick porcelain.
03Which material stands up to heat and knives?
Porcelain and granite handle heat and scratches well. Quartz is very hard-wearing, though it is wise not to put pans on it straight from the hob. During the visit we compare options with the way you cook.
04Does the tiled splashback have to change too?
Not always. If the new thickness leaves a visible strip, or tiles break when the old worktop comes off, we finish it with an upstand or splashback in the same material.
