Shower waterproofing in Mollet del Vallès.
We stop shower leaks in Mollet del Vallès at the base: a continuous membrane, falls towards the waste and a water test before the finish, so the ceiling below can dry out.

- A stain on the ceiling below
- Damp on the adjoining wall
- Tiles coming loose in the shower

What shower waterproofing includes
-
Source of the leak
We find out whether water escapes through grout, waste or pipework before opening up.
-
Opening up the area
We lift the tray and shower tiles, leaving the rest of the bathroom alone.
-
Falls to the drain
We rebuild the base so water runs to the waste and never sits.
-
Continuous membrane
Membrane across floor and walls, with tape at corners, pipes and drain.
-
Flood test
We flood the base and check for any loss before closing it up.
-
New finish
Tray or tiles laid on top, with epoxy or mould-resistant grout.
Shower leaks in Mollet del Vallès: what we check first
In detached and terraced houses the upstairs shower often sits above the living room or kitchen, so a leak shows quickly on the plaster ceiling. We also check where pipes pass through the floor, a spot often left unsealed (mostly in areas such as Centre, Estació de França and Estació del Nord).
When the leak comes only from the joints, it can be enough to rake out the grout, seal with a waterproofing product and regrout in epoxy. We decide that only after a water test shows the membrane underneath is intact.
After the visit you get a written quote setting out each stage of the waterproofing. We protect the rest of the bathroom, clear the rubble and leave it clean. Other nearby areas we cover: Santa Perpètua de Mogoda, Montcada i Reixac and Parets del Vallès.

Frequently asked questions
01Shower waterproofing in Mollet del Vallès: which areas do you cover?
We do this work in Mollet del Vallès, in areas such as Centre, Estació de França, Estació del Nord, Plana Lledó, Can Borrell, Santa Rosa, Lourdes and Can Pantiquet, and also nearby: Santa Perpètua de Mogoda, Montcada i Reixac and Parets del Vallès. Before starting we visit the property and prepare a detailed written quote.
02Is replacing the grout enough to stop the leak?
Only if the grout is the problem and the membrane underneath is sound. If water has already reached the floor slab, the shower has to be lifted and waterproofed again.
03What is a flood test?
We plug the drain and fill the waterproofed base with water. If the level holds and no damp appears below, the finish can go on.
04Does a tiled walk-in shower need more care than one with a tray?
Yes. Without a tray, the membrane and falls are all that hold the water back, so they must cover the whole floor and run up the walls.
