Close to the sea, damp and salt air attack the bottom of radiators under windows and towel rails in bathrooms. We choose well-coated aluminium or treated steel with stainless screws (especially in areas such as Centre, Eixample and Havana).
We hang each radiator on brackets suited to the wall type, level and rising slightly towards the bleed valve so air escapes easily. On refilling we check the boiler pressure and the tightness of every fitting.
