Plasterboard partitions in Mataró: what we usually find
On residential estates and in areas such as Centre, Eixample and Havana it is common to find holiday houses being adapted for year-round living: splitting a loft, dividing a large bedroom or creating a study. Plasterboard does this dry, without touching the structure.
Before boarding each partition, in homes across areas such as Rocafonda, El Palau and Escorxador, we mark with the client where the TV, wall units or shelving will go and fit timber noggins or doubled studs. Then we tape the joints, apply filler and sand.
A site manager coordinates the work, and when we finish we clear offcuts and plaster dust so the home is left clean. We also work nearby: Argentona, Cabrera de Mar and Sant Andreu de Llavaneres.

Frequently asked questions
01Plasterboard partition walls in Mataró: which areas do you cover?
We work in Mataró in areas such as Centre, Eixample, Havana, Rocafonda, El Palau, Escorxador, Cerdanyola and La Llàntia, and also nearby: Argentona, Cabrera de Mar and Sant Andreu de Llavaneres.
02Does a plasterboard partition block noise?
Yes, if it is designed for it: mineral wool inside, double boards on each side and acoustic strips where it meets the floor and ceiling. We specify it according to the noise you want to keep out.
03Can I hang units or a TV on plasterboard?
Yes. We fit timber noggins or extra studs inside the wall where heavy units will go, and use plasterboard fixings for everything else.
04Is plasterboard suitable for a bathroom or kitchen?
Yes, with moisture-resistant board (the green one) in wet areas and, in the shower, waterproofing under the tiles.
