What a small kitchen renovation includes
-
A layout that uses the space
Single-wall, L-shaped or galley, chosen to suit the space available.
-
Units up to the ceiling
Taller wall units for more storage without taking up floor space.
-
Useful corners
Pull-out corner units, deep drawers and plinth drawers.
-
Compact appliances
Two- or three-zone hob, oven in a tall unit and a 45 cm dishwasher.
-
Light and pale finishes
LED strip under the wall units and pale finishes that make the room feel bigger.
-
Sliding door
If a hinged door gets in the way, we replace it with a sliding or pocket door.
Making the most of a narrow kitchen in Matadepera
In terraced and detached houses in areas such as Centre and Can Torrella the small kitchen often sits next to the utility room or pantry. Joining the two, or moving the washing machine out, frees space for more worktop and a 45 cm dishwasher.
In the small kitchens we renovate in areas such as Les Pedritxes, El Cavall Bernat and Can Prat we take the wall units right up to the ceiling and turn the plinth into a drawer. That adds storage without taking a centimetre of floor.
After the visit you receive a written quote, and the site manager sequences the work so that in such a tight space no trade gets in the next one's way. We also work nearby: Terrassa, Castellar del Vallès and Sant Llorenç Savall.

Frequently asked questions
01Small kitchen renovation in Matadepera: which areas do you cover?
We do this work in Matadepera, in areas such as Centre, Can Torrella, Les Pedritxes, El Cavall Bernat, Can Prat, Can Duran, El Pla de Sant Llorenç and Els Rourets, and also nearby: Terrassa, Castellar del Vallès and Sant Llorenç Savall. Before starting we visit the property and prepare a detailed written quote.
02Will a dishwasher fit in a narrow kitchen?
Usually, yes, in the 45 cm wide version. We look for a space next to the sink so it can share the water supply and waste.
03How can I gain storage without making the kitchen feel tighter?
By taking wall units up to the ceiling, using the plinth as a drawer and fitting pull-out hardware in the corners. The footprint stays the same and far more fits in.
