Renovating a small flat in Martorell: what we usually suggest
In areas such as La Vila, La Mina and Rosanes it is common to find small flats in blocks from the 1960s to the 1980s, with a hallway, corridor and separate kitchen that swallow a lot of space. Removing the corridor and opening the kitchen to the dining area is usually the change people notice most.
In flats in areas such as El Pla, Camí Fondo and Buenos Aires we start with the plan, trying several layouts until the bed, table, sofa and wardrobes fit without tight gaps. Then we build plasterboard partitions, which are thinner than brick and can house pocket sliding doors.
We work tidily in tight spaces, protect what is not being touched and leave the flat clean at the end. We also cover the surrounding areas: Sant Andreu de la Barca, Abrera and Castellbisbal.

Frequently asked questions
01Small flat renovation in Martorell: which areas do you cover?
We work in Martorell in areas such as La Vila, La Mina, Rosanes, Pont del Diable, El Pla, Camí Fondo, Buenos Aires and Torrent de Llops, and also nearby: Sant Andreu de la Barca, Abrera and Castellbisbal.
02Can the kitchen be opened up to the living room in a small flat?
Usually, yes. We check whether the wall is load-bearing, where the cooker hood can vent and where the outlets go, then propose an open kitchen that does not crowd the living area.
03What makes a small flat feel bigger?
One continuous floor with no changes between rooms, sliding doors, light colours, recessed lighting and made-to-measure wardrobes that reach the ceiling.
