Before adding a socket: what we check

In areas such as Nucli antic, Barri de Dalt and La Doma, blocks of flats and houses often have sockets added haphazardly over the years, sometimes daisy-chained from one outlet. We undo those links and spread the sockets across circuits so none runs at its limit.

If you would rather avoid building work, in flats in areas such as Barri de Montserrat, Barri Querol and Can Terrers we use existing conduit with spare room, or run the cable in surface trunking or a skirting channel. In plasterboard walls we fit dry-lining boxes that clamp to the board.

On the visit we walk round with you and mark every socket; then we send a detailed written quote, item by item. We also work in nearby areas: L'Ametlla del Vallès, Les Franqueses del Vallès and Figaró-Montmany.
