From hood to duct: how we fit it
Many kitchen refits swap gas for induction and move the hob to an island or another wall. We reposition the hood over the new hob, redo the duct and power supply and close up the old outlet (frequent in Nucli antic, Barri de Dalt and La Doma).
When an outlet has to be made, we core-drill the wall, fit a sleeve with a fall to the outside and finish with a grille and non-return damper. The hole is sealed inside and out so no rain gets in.
