From floor-standing to wall-hung in La Bisbal d'Empordà
In 1960s to 80s town-centre flats in areas such as Nucli antic, El Raval and El Pedró, a floor-standing toilet usually has a vertical outlet into the floor. To switch to wall-hung, we run the waste to the wall with a new PVC section and connect it to the frame's bend.
In homes in areas such as L'Aigüeta and La Guardiola, we connect the waste with a PVC bend of the size the pan needs and check the fall to the stack. Before closing up we run a water test and leave the supply with its stop valve inside the frame.
On the visit we look at the partition and the stack and explain what work is involved; then you receive a detailed written quote. We also work in nearby areas: Corçà, Forallac and Ullastret.

Frequently asked questions
01Wall-hung toilet installation in La Bisbal d'Empordà: which areas do you cover?
We work in La Bisbal d'Empordà in areas such as Nucli antic, El Raval, El Pedró, Barri del Convent, L'Aigüeta, La Guardiola, Sant Pol de la Bisbal and Castell d'Empordà, and also nearby: Corçà, Forallac and Ullastret.
02Can a wall-hung toilet take an adult's weight?
Yes. The load is carried not by the partition but by the steel frame anchored to floor and wall, which is why it must be fixed and levelled carefully.
03What if the concealed cistern goes wrong?
It can be repaired without breaking anything: the mechanism comes out through the flush plate opening. That is why we never tile over that access.
04Is building work needed to replace a floor-standing toilet?
Some, yes: the wall has to be opened or built out to house the frame, the waste adapted and the finish made good.
