Fitting a dishwasher in L'Escala: what we check first
In houses on residential estates in areas such as Nucli antic, Poble Sec and Les Terroges, kitchens are spacious and sometimes have an island or peninsula. If the dishwasher goes in the island, we run water, waste and power under the floor or behind the plinth, with the right fall to the soil stack.
In kitchens in areas such as Riells, La Clota and Muntanya de Montgó we connect the waste to the sink trap through a spigot with a non-return valve and loop the hose up to the height the manufacturer specifies. That stops dirty water from the sink flowing back into the machine.
After the visit you receive a detailed written quote covering the machine, the connections and any unit that needs adapting; when we finish we leave the kitchen tidy. We also install in nearby areas: Torroella de Montgrí, Sant Pere Pescador and Viladamat.

Frequently asked questions
01Dishwasher installation in L'Escala: which areas do you cover?
We do this work in L'Escala, in areas such as Nucli antic, Poble Sec, Les Terroges, Riells, La Clota, Muntanya de Montgó, Sant Martí d'Empúries and Les Corts, and also nearby: Torroella de Montgrí, Sant Pere Pescador and Viladamat. Before starting we visit the property and prepare a detailed written quote.
02Can the dishwasher go far from the sink?
Yes, but the drain hose only reaches so far. If the space is further away, we extend the waste pipe inside the wall with the right fall.
0345 cm or 60 cm dishwasher?
A 60 cm machine holds more and a 45 cm one suits narrow kitchens. We measure the space and tell you which fits without losing a useful drawer unit.
04Do you fit the door panel on an integrated dishwasher?
Yes. We line the panel up with the neighbouring units and adjust the door springs so it opens and closes smoothly.
