How we install your water heater
On the visit we look at where the heater will go, the type of wall, the water supply and the electrical line. We suggest the right capacity and set it out in a written quote.
On installation day we drain and remove the old unit, fix the new one in place and connect it with isolation valves, a safety valve and its drain.
We fill it, bleed the air and switch it on. We show you how to set the temperature and leave the area tidy.

01What size of water heater do I need?
As a guide, 50 litres for one or two people, 80 for three and 100 or more for families with two bathrooms. On the visit we adjust it to how you use hot water.
02Can the water heater go somewhere else?
Yes, if there is a wall that can take the weight, a water supply and a drain for the safety valve. If water or a new electrical line needs to be brought in, we include it in the quote.
03Can I replace a gas water heater with an electric one?
Yes. We remove the gas heater and prepare the water and electrical connections for the new one. First we check that your contracted power is sufficient.
04How much does a complete renovation cost?
There is no single price. The estimate depends on the condition and size of the home, the scope of the project, materials and work required. Tell us your idea so we can assess your specific case.
05How long does a renovation take?
It depends on the type of home, the scope of the work and the project's constraints. Once we have studied the renovation, we can give you a more accurate estimate.
06Can a home be renovated while people still live in it?
It depends on the scope, estimated duration and condition of the home. When we study the project, we will assess whether it is feasible and what precautions or alternatives should be considered.
