- Underfloor heating
Underfloor heating installation warmth that rises from the floor.
We install wet underfloor heating with insulation, manifold and level screed, ready for the floor finish and to run on a heat pump or boiler.
5/5 · Google reviewsWhen should you consider underfloor heating?
- You are replacing the floors anyway
- Warm only next to the radiators
- Radiators taking up wall space
- Switching to a heat pump
What the underfloor heating includes
-
Circuit layout
Pipe spacing and number of circuits worked out for each room.
-
Insulation and edge strip
Insulation boards and a perimeter strip so the heat goes up, not down.
-
PEX or multilayer pipe
Laid in a spiral with no joints under the floor.
-
Manifold with flow meters
Every circuit balanced from a single accessible cabinet.
-
Pressure test
Circuits filled and kept under pressure before and during the screed pour.
-
Screed
An even, level layer, ready for your chosen flooring.
How we work, step by step
We visit the home, measure the available floor height and see what will supply the heat. With the circuit layout in hand, we prepare a detailed written quote.
The site manager runs each stage in order: lifting the old floor, insulation and edge strip, laying the pipe, manifold, pressure test and screed pour.
Once the screed has dried, we bring the system up to temperature gradually, balance the circuits and leave the base ready for flooring.

Frequently asked questions
01What floor height does it take up?
A standard system adds around 8–10 cm for insulation, pipe and screed, plus the floor finish. Where height is tight, low-profile systems take up much less.
02Which floor finishes can go on top?
Ceramic and porcelain tiles transfer heat most readily. Engineered wood or vinyl rated for underfloor heating also work, at the thickness the manufacturer specifies.
03What heats the water?
A heat pump, the most efficient match because both work at low temperature, or a condensing boiler. If the unit allows it, the floor can also provide gentle cooling in summer.
04How much does a complete renovation cost?
There is no single price. The estimate depends on the condition and size of the home, the scope of the project, materials and work required. Tell us your idea so we can assess your specific case.
05How long does a renovation take?
It depends on the type of home, the scope of the work and the project's constraints. Once we have studied the renovation, we can give you a more accurate estimate.
06Can a home be renovated while people still live in it?
It depends on the scope, estimated duration and condition of the home. When we study the project, we will assess whether it is feasible and what precautions or alternatives should be considered.
07How can I request an estimate?
Choose what you want to renovate, tell us whether the work is partial or complete, and leave your name, phone number and email. This lets us provide initial guidance. You can also write to us directly on WhatsApp.
