From measuring to the final adjustment
During the visit we measure each opening, check the frames and the type of floor, and help you choose the model and ironmongery. Everything is set out in a written quote.
The site manager schedules the fitting: we take out the old doors, set the frames plumb and hang the leaves, one door at a time, so the home stays usable.
Finally we adjust latches and hinges, fit the architraves and take away all packaging and offcuts.

If the frame is straight and in good condition, yes: we make a leaf to fit the opening. If it is out of true or the floor level changes, a complete door set is the sensible choice.

Usually not. The new frame is fixed to the subframe or wall and the architraves cover the joint; at most, a little paint touch-up is needed.
03Which doors keep out more noise?
Solid-core leaves with a seal in the frame. Hollow-core doors are light but let more sound through, so we keep them for rooms where privacy matters less.
