From old floor to new wood
During the visit we measure the moisture in the screed, check the height available and talk through the format you like. We then prepare a detailed written quote.
Once the wood has acclimatised, the site manager coordinates removal of the old floor, levelling and fitting, with expansion gaps hidden under the skirting.
We finish with thresholds and skirting, trim doors where needed and hand over a clean, dust-free floor.

01Can parquet go over underfloor heating?
Yes, with a stable, fairly thin board, usually engineered wood glued down, and a dry screed. The heating must have completed its start-up cycle first.
02Floating or glued-down parquet?
Floating boards sit on an underlay and are easier to replace; glued-down boards transmit less footstep noise and feel more solid. We decide based on the base, format and use.
03Does the wood need to sit in the home before fitting?
Yes. It should acclimatise in the room, as the manufacturer specifies, so it does not move later with changes in humidity.
04How much does a complete renovation cost?
