When is it time to switch to a heat pump?

  • Old gas or oil boiler
  • Very high heating bills
  • Water heater that can't keep up
  • Well-insulated or renovated home

What the heat pump installation includes

  • Heat demand study

Output based on floor area, insulation and the home's heat emitters.

  • Air-to-water heat pump

Outdoor unit on a terrace, garden or roof, on an anti-vibration base.

  • Hot water cylinder

Domestic hot water storage sized to how much you use.

  • Connection to emitters

Underfloor heating, low-temperature radiators or fan coils.

  • Controls and programming

Thermostats and heating curve set up for your home.

  • Power supply

A dedicated line and a check of your contracted power.

From survey to start-up

At the visit we look at the current boiler, the emitters, the insulation and where the outdoor unit can go. With that information we size the system and prepare a detailed written quote.

The site manager coordinates removing the boiler, fitting the heat pump and cylinder, and the plumbing and electrical connections, in line with the RITE.

We fill and bleed the circuit, set the heating curve and show you how to programme the system before we clear up.

Frequently asked questions

01

Will my current radiators work with a heat pump?

It depends on their size and on the insulation. A heat pump runs at a lower temperature than a boiler, so at the visit we check whether the radiators give enough heat or some should be replaced.

02

Can a heat pump be installed in a flat?

Yes, if there is a terrace, a large balcony or a roof for the outdoor unit and room for the hot water cylinder. We assess it at the visit.

03

What happens to the old boiler?

We disconnect and remove it, and leave the water connections ready for the new system.

04

How much does a complete renovation cost?

There is no single price. The estimate depends on the condition and size of the home, the scope of the project, materials and work required. Tell us your idea so we can assess your specific case.

05

How long does a renovation take?

It depends on the type of home, the scope of the work and the project's constraints. Once we have studied the renovation, we can give you a more accurate estimate.

06

Can a home be renovated while people still live in it?

It depends on the scope, estimated duration and condition of the home. When we study the project, we will assess whether it is feasible and what precautions or alternatives should be considered.

07

How can I request an estimate?

Choose what you want to renovate, tell us whether the work is partial or complete, and leave your name, phone number and email. This lets us provide initial guidance. You can also write to us directly on WhatsApp.
