Renovating a kitchen in Igualada, point by point
In flats in areas such as Centre, El Rec and Sant Agustí we often find the original kitchen, with period tiles, iron pipes and a plaster ceiling. We strip it back to a clean substrate and, where winters are cold, insulate the external wall before tiling.
In the kitchens we renovate in areas such as Fàtima, Montserrat and Set Camins we start with water and waste: new pipework, accessible stopcocks and the correct fall to the downpipe. Only then do we tile and lay the floor.
After the visit you get a written quote with every item listed; during the work we protect the rest of the home and leave it clean at the end. We also renovate kitchens nearby: Òdena, Vilanova del Camí and Santa Margarida de Montbui.

Frequently asked questions
01Complete kitchen renovation in Igualada: which areas do you cover?
We work in Igualada in areas such as Centre, El Rec, Sant Agustí, Fàtima, Montserrat, Set Camins, Sant Crist and Pla de la Massa, and also nearby: Òdena, Vilanova del Camí and Santa Margarida de Montbui.
02Can the kitchen be moved to another part of the home?
Often, yes. The waste pipe decides it: it needs a fall to the soil stack and, over a long distance, the floor has to be raised. We check this during the visit.
03Who designs the new layout?
We start from your measurements and the way you cook. We propose where the sink, hob and fridge go, and set it out in the quote before work begins.
04Can I switch from gas to an induction hob?
Yes. We cap the gas point in the kitchen and run a dedicated electrical line for the hob, sized to the REBT and your contracted power.
