What changes when we renovate a bathroom in Igualada
In areas such as Centre, El Rec and Sant Agustí 1970s flats sit alongside family houses, and in both the bathroom is the room that ages fastest: damp ceilings, dripping cisterns and stopcocks that will not close. A renovation is a good moment to fit new isolation valves and a properly sized water heater.
In bathrooms in areas such as Fàtima, Montserrat and Set Camins we start with what you cannot see: multilayer supply pipes, PVC waste with a proper fall to the soil stack and an accessible inspection point. We then lay a waterproof membrane over the floor and around the shower, taken up the walls before tiling.
After the visit you receive an itemised quote with labour and materials shown separately; during the work we protect hallways and floors and clear rubble daily. We also work in nearby areas: Òdena, Vilanova del Camí and Santa Margarida de Montbui.

Frequently asked questions
01Complete bathroom renovation in Igualada: which areas do you cover?
We work in Igualada in areas such as Centre, El Rec, Sant Agustí, Fàtima, Montserrat, Set Camins, Sant Crist and Pla de la Massa, and also nearby: Òdena, Vilanova del Camí and Santa Margarida de Montbui.
02Do the pipes need replacing when I renovate the bathroom?
We almost always recommend it: with the tiles already off, renewing supply and waste pipes avoids opening the wall again later for a leak in old pipework.
03Can the toilet or shower be moved?
Yes, as long as the waste pipe can reach the soil stack with enough fall. During the visit we check the route and tell you which layout changes are feasible.
04Can I choose the tiles and sanitaryware myself?
Of course. We advise on sizes and formats so everything fits, and the quote lists labour and materials separately.
