Heat pumps in L'Hospitalet de Llobregat: where each unit goes
In 1960s to 1980s flats in areas such as Centre, Sant Josep and Sanfeliu, insulation is limited and radiators run at high temperatures. Before deciding, we measure rooms and emitters and explain whether a heat pump fits as things are or needs improvements first.
Where there is underfloor heating, as in many houses in areas such as Collblanc, La Torrassa and Santa Eulàlia, we set the heating curve so the water leaves at just the right temperature. We balance the manifold circuits so every room heats evenly.
Over 20 years' experience in installations: we remove the old boiler, fit the new system and leave the house clean. We also install heat pumps nearby: Barcelona, Cornellà de Llobregat and Esplugues de Llobregat.

Frequently asked questions
01Air-source heat pump installation in L'Hospitalet de Llobregat: which areas do you cover?
We do this work in L'Hospitalet de Llobregat, in areas such as Centre, Sant Josep, Sanfeliu, Collblanc, La Torrassa, Santa Eulàlia, La Florida and Les Planes, and also nearby: Barcelona, Cornellà de Llobregat and Esplugues de Llobregat. Before starting we visit the property and prepare a detailed written quote.
02Will my current radiators work with a heat pump?
It depends on their size and on the insulation. A heat pump runs at a lower temperature than a boiler, so at the visit we check whether the radiators give enough heat or some should be replaced.
03Can a heat pump be installed in a flat?
Yes, if there is a terrace, a large balcony or a roof for the outdoor unit and room for the hot water cylinder. We assess it at the visit.
04What happens to the old boiler?
We disconnect and remove it, and leave the water connections ready for the new system.
