Replacing a vanity unit in Girona
In 1960s to 80s flats the original unit is usually chipboard on legs or a pedestal basin. When replacing it we check the angle valves and waste, which are often worn, and change them before fitting the new unit (frequent in Barri Vell and Mercadal).
We hang the mirror, cabinet and tall unit in line with the vanity, at a comfortable height for whoever uses them. If they are lit, we connect them to a point that respects the bathroom safety zones set out in the REBT.
