From floor-standing to wall-hung in Girona
In 1960s to 80s town-centre flats a floor-standing toilet usually has a vertical outlet into the floor. To switch to wall-hung, we run the waste to the wall with a new PVC section and connect it to the frame's bend (mostly in Barri Vell and Mercadal).
For boxing-in we use metal studs and moisture-resistant board and mark the exact flush-plate opening. The tiler can then cut to size and the access stays neat, never covered over.
