Hallways in Gavà: common problems and fixes
In beach apartments in areas such as Centre, Les Panes and La Barceloneta the hallway is usually short but collects sand, towels and bags. We use an alcove or the end wall for a cupboard for cleaning gear and linen, and choose continuous flooring that is easy to sweep.
For hallways in areas such as Les Colomeres, Les Bòbiles and Can Tries we fill alcoves and end walls with shallow made-to-measure cupboards for linen or cleaning gear, without narrowing the passage.
We have been renovating homes for over 20 years: one visit is enough to assess the hallway, and the detailed quote lists every item. We also cover the areas nearby: Castelldefels, Viladecans and Sitges.

Frequently asked questions
01Hallway renovation in Gavà: which areas do you cover?
We do this work in Gavà, in areas such as Centre, Les Panes, La Barceloneta, Les Colomeres, Les Bòbiles, Can Tries, Ca n'Espinós and Bruguers, and also nearby: Castelldefels, Viladecans and Sitges. Before starting we visit the property and prepare a detailed written quote.
02How do you bring light into a windowless hallway?
With glazed doors or glass fanlights that borrow light from the rooms, pale walls, and spotlights or LED lines along its length.
03Can the hallway be reduced to enlarge the rooms?
Yes, where the partitions are not load-bearing. We study the layout and the route of the services, and show you how much space you gain before we start.
04Are sliding doors a good idea in a hallway?
They save space in narrow corridors. Pocket doors slide into the partition and leave the wall clear; surface-mounted ones need a stretch of free wall beside them.
