Renovating a hallway in Figueres, metre by metre
In terraced and detached houses in areas such as Centre and Eixample the upstairs landing often has end walls and eaves spaces going unused. We turn them into built-in cupboards for bedding, suitcases or the vacuum cleaner.
For hallways in areas such as Horta Capallera, Creu de la Mà and Poblenou we fill alcoves and end walls with shallow made-to-measure cupboards for linen or cleaning gear, without narrowing the passage.
We have been renovating homes for over 20 years: one visit is enough to assess the hallway, and the detailed quote lists every item. We also cover the areas nearby: Vilafant, Vilabertran and Llers.

Frequently asked questions
01Hallway renovation in Figueres: which areas do you cover?
We work in Figueres in areas such as Centre, Eixample, Horta Capallera, Creu de la Mà, Poblenou, Olivar Gran, Marca de l'Ham and Vilatenim, and also nearby: Vilafant, Vilabertran and Llers.
02How do you bring light into a windowless hallway?
With glazed doors or glass fanlights that borrow light from the rooms, pale walls, and spotlights or LED lines along its length.
03Can the hallway be reduced to enlarge the rooms?
Yes, where the partitions are not load-bearing. We study the layout and the route of the services, and show you how much space you gain before we start.
04Are sliding doors a good idea in a hallway?
They save space in narrow corridors. Pocket doors slide into the partition and leave the wall clear; surface-mounted ones need a stretch of free wall beside them.
