How we prepare walls before painting
In the detached and terraced houses of areas such as Centre and Eixample we often paint tall stairwells, attic rooms and rarely used rooms. Interior scaffolding lets us reach every height, and on walls that get cold in winter we check for condensation before choosing the paint.
When we paint in areas such as Horta Capallera, Creu de la Mà and Poblenou we start with the ceilings and move on to the walls, cutting in by hand around skirting boards, frames and sockets. We only use tape where it is needed and peel it off while the paint is still wet for a clean edge.
