How we install heat pumps in Figueres
In houses and terraced homes in areas such as Centre and Eixample, we often replace an oil boiler and its fuel tank. We remove both, reuse the radiator circuit if it is suitable and place the heat pump in the patio or garden.
In the systems we install in areas such as Horta Capallera, Creu de la Mà and Poblenou, the hot water cylinder is sized to the number of people in the household. We connect it with safety valves, an expansion vessel and a programmed anti-legionella cycle.
A site manager runs the installation from the visit and written quote to the final adjustment, and we show you how to programme the system. Nearby areas we also cover: Vilafant, Vilabertran and Llers.

Frequently asked questions
01Air-source heat pump installation in Figueres: which areas do you cover?
We work in Figueres in areas such as Centre, Eixample, Horta Capallera, Creu de la Mà, Poblenou, Olivar Gran, Marca de l'Ham and Vilatenim, and also nearby: Vilafant, Vilabertran and Llers.
02Will my current radiators work with a heat pump?
It depends on their size and on the insulation. A heat pump runs at a lower temperature than a boiler, so at the visit we check whether the radiators give enough heat or some should be replaced.
03Can a heat pump be installed in a flat?
Yes, if there is a terrace, a large balcony or a roof for the outdoor unit and room for the hot water cylinder. We assess it at the visit.
04What happens to the old boiler?
We disconnect and remove it, and leave the water connections ready for the new system.
