Replacing a railing in Esparreguera: what to bear in mind
In 1960s to 80s blocks in areas such as La Plana, Pau Font and La Creu, we find iron railings under layers of paint with rusted anchors inside the wall. If the support is damaged we repair it, and if the frame is still sound we consider restoring it rather than replacing it.
