Heat pumps in El Prat de Llobregat: where each unit goes
In houses with gardens on residential estates in areas such as Centre and Eixample Sud, there is plenty of outdoor space for the heat pump. We place it away from bedrooms and neighbouring houses and look at whether to use it for summer cooling too.
In the systems we install in areas such as Sant Cosme, Sant Jordi - Ribera Baixa and La Granja, the hot water cylinder is sized to the number of people in the household. We connect it with safety valves, an expansion vessel and a programmed anti-legionella cycle.
Over 20 years' experience in installations: we remove the old boiler, fit the new system and leave the house clean. We also install heat pumps nearby: L'Hospitalet de Llobregat, Cornellà de Llobregat and Sant Boi de Llobregat.

Frequently asked questions
01Air-source heat pump installation in El Prat de Llobregat: which areas do you cover?
We do this work in El Prat de Llobregat, in areas such as Centre, Eixample Sud, Sant Cosme, Sant Jordi - Ribera Baixa, La Granja, Jardins de la Pau, Les Palmeres and La Barceloneta, and also nearby: L'Hospitalet de Llobregat, Cornellà de Llobregat and Sant Boi de Llobregat. Before starting we visit the property and prepare a detailed written quote.
02Will my current radiators work with a heat pump?
It depends on their size and on the insulation. A heat pump runs at a lower temperature than a boiler, so at the visit we check whether the radiators give enough heat or some should be replaced.
03Can a heat pump be installed in a flat?
Yes, if there is a terrace, a large balcony or a roof for the outdoor unit and room for the hot water cylinder. We assess it at the visit.
04What happens to the old boiler?
We disconnect and remove it, and leave the water connections ready for the new system.
