Bathroom tiles in El Prat de Llobregat: where we start from
In apartments and houses on estates in areas such as Centre and Eixample Sud the bathroom gets sand and pool water. On the floor we use porcelain with a suitable slip rating, and on the walls low-absorption tiles that rinse clean easily.
With large-format tiles, common in bathrooms in areas such as Sant Cosme, Sant Jordi - Ribera Baixa and La Granja, we back-butter each piece with C2 adhesive and use levelling clips to avoid lipping between tiles. Before we start, we check the wall with a straightedge.
After the visit we send an itemised quote, with removal, preparation and tiling listed separately; a site manager coordinates the tiler and the plumber. We also work nearby: L'Hospitalet de Llobregat, Cornellà de Llobregat and Sant Boi de Llobregat.

Sometimes, if the old tiles are firmly bonded and flat, using an adhesive for tile-on-tile. Bear in mind you lose a little space and the edges around doors and windows change.
03Do large-format tiles work in a small bathroom?
Yes, and they often help: fewer grout lines make the room feel bigger. They just need very flat walls and careful setting out of the cuts.
