Heat pumps in Cornellà de Llobregat: where each unit goes
In areas such as Centre and Riera, with cold winters and frost, a heat pump has to deliver output when it is below zero outside. We size it for January nights and choose units that keep their performance at low temperatures.
Where there is underfloor heating, as in many houses in areas such as El Pedró, La Gavarra and Sant Ildefons, we set the heating curve so the water leaves at just the right temperature. We balance the manifold circuits so every room heats evenly.
A site manager runs the installation from the visit and written quote to the final adjustment, and we show you how to programme the system. Nearby areas we also cover: L'Hospitalet de Llobregat, Esplugues de Llobregat and Sant Joan Despí.

Frequently asked questions
01Air-source heat pump installation in Cornellà de Llobregat: which areas do you cover?
We do this work in Cornellà de Llobregat, in areas such as Centre, Riera, El Pedró, La Gavarra, Sant Ildefons, Almeda and Fontsanta-Fatjó, and also nearby: L'Hospitalet de Llobregat, Esplugues de Llobregat and Sant Joan Despí. Before starting we visit the property and prepare a detailed written quote.
02Will my current radiators work with a heat pump?
It depends on their size and on the insulation. A heat pump runs at a lower temperature than a boiler, so at the visit we check whether the radiators give enough heat or some should be replaced.
03Can a heat pump be installed in a flat?
Yes, if there is a terrace, a large balcony or a roof for the outdoor unit and room for the hot water cylinder. We assess it at the visit.
04What happens to the old boiler?
We disconnect and remove it, and leave the water connections ready for the new system.
