We open the crack into a V, remove loose material and clear the dust.
-
Flexible sealing
A flexible filler or mortar that moves with the wall without reopening.
-
Reinforcing mesh
Glass-fibre mesh embedded in mortar where cracks keep coming back.
-
Render reinstatement
Monocouche or render of the same type as the original, with a similar texture.
-
Final protection
Breathable paint or water repellent so water cannot get back in.
Render crack repair in Cerdanyola del Vallès: how we do it
On terraced and detached houses in areas such as Centre, Serraparera and Fontetes, 1990s and 2000s monocouche shows map cracking, cracks where columns meet brickwork and diagonals running from window corners. There, glass-fibre mesh is what stops them returning.
To finish, on façades in areas such as Banús, Turonet and Guiera we reinstate the monocouche or render with the same type of material and a similar texture, scraped or smooth. We then apply breathable paint or water repellent and, if the patch shows, recommend painting the whole panel.
On the visit we check every crack and give you a detailed written quote with the repair system; a site manager coordinates access and the team. We also repair cracks in nearby areas: Sabadell, Sant Cugat del Vallès and Ripollet.

Frequently asked questions
01Exterior render crack repair in Cerdanyola del Vallès: which areas do you cover?
We do this work in Cerdanyola del Vallès, in areas such as Centre, Serraparera, Fontetes, Canaletes, Banús, Turonet, Guiera and Can Xarau, and also nearby: Sabadell, Sant Cugat del Vallès and Ripollet. Before starting we visit the property and prepare a detailed written quote.
02Are all façade cracks serious?
No. Most come from shrinkage or thermal movement in the render and are repaired with sealing and mesh. If we see diagonal cracks, cracks running through the wall or cracks that keep growing, we recommend having a surveyor check the structure first.
03Why is filling the crack not enough?
If the crack is not opened up and sealed with a flexible material, movement in the wall makes it show again. That is why we rake it out, clean it and add mesh where cracks keep recurring.
04Will the repair be visible?
We match the texture of the render as closely as we can, but new colour almost always stands out. That is why we usually recommend repainting the whole section afterwards.
