Space you win back with a better layout
In areas such as Nucli antic, Puig Mercadal and Castelló Nou many small flats are second homes used for part of the year. We go for low-maintenance solutions: continuous flooring that resists damp, ventilated wardrobes so clothes do not smell musty, and fittings that do not corrode in salty air.
When we move the kitchen or bathroom in flats in areas such as Port Grec, Gran Reserva and Salins, we first check the fall to the soil stack and where the extractor can vent. Sockets and outlets are placed to suit the final furniture layout, not the old installation.
We work tidily in tight spaces, protect what is not being touched and leave the flat clean at the end. We also cover the surrounding areas: Roses, Peralada and Sant Pere Pescador.

Frequently asked questions
01Small flat renovation in Castelló d'Empúries: which areas do you cover?
We do this work in Castelló d'Empúries, in areas such as Nucli antic, Puig Mercadal, Castelló Nou, Port Grec, Gran Reserva, Salins, Puigmal and Mas Nou, and also nearby: Roses, Peralada and Sant Pere Pescador. Before starting we visit the property and prepare a detailed written quote.
02Can the kitchen be opened up to the living room in a small flat?
Usually, yes. We check whether the wall is load-bearing, where the cooker hood can vent and where the outlets go, then propose an open kitchen that does not crowd the living area.
03What makes a small flat feel bigger?
One continuous floor with no changes between rooms, sliding doors, light colours, recessed lighting and made-to-measure wardrobes that reach the ceiling.
