Near the sea, in areas such as Nucli antic, Puig Mercadal and Castelló Nou, damp salty air condenses on cold roof surfaces, leaving stains and blackened timber. We fit a vapour barrier on the warm side of the insulation and arrange cross-ventilation so the air does not stagnate.
In attics in areas such as Port Grec, Gran Reserva and Salins we use the low areas for made-to-measure cupboards and drawers under the slope, and adapt the staircase so it is easy to climb. Sockets, lighting and air-conditioning pre-installation run inside the lining, with no visible cables.
