Consumer units in Castelldefels: what we usually find
In houses on residential estates in areas such as Centre, El Castell – Poble Vell and Muntanyeta, there is often a main board in the house and a sub-board in the garage or garden shed. We replace both, coordinate their RCDs so a fault outside does not black out the whole house, and label each one.
When the change is finished in areas such as Montmar, Bellamar and Les Botigues, we test every RCD with a tester, measure the earth and leave a printed circuit chart on the board door. The wall around the enclosure is made good and ready for painting.
We visit, open your current board and give you a detailed written quote; a site manager coordinates the change and we agree the time of the power cut with you. We also work in nearby areas: Gavà, Viladecans and Sitges.

Frequently asked questions
01Consumer unit replacement in Castelldefels: which areas do you cover?
We work in Castelldefels in areas such as Centre, El Castell – Poble Vell, Muntanyeta, Vista Alegre, Can Vinader, Can Roca, Els Canyars and Montmar, and also nearby: Gavà, Viladecans and Sitges.
02Can the consumer unit be replaced without rewiring?
Yes, if the wiring is in good condition. We test its insulation first; if any circuit fails, we point it out in the quote so you can decide what to do with it.
03What does a surge protection device do?
It cuts the supply when a voltage spike arrives from the grid or a storm, protecting the fridge, boiler, computer and other connected equipment.
04Will I be without power during the work?
Only while the old unit is disconnected and the new one is connected. We agree the time of the cut with you and leave everything working before we go.
