Heat pumps in Castelldefels: where each unit goes
In houses with gardens on residential estates in areas such as Centre, El Castell – Poble Vell and Muntanyeta, there is plenty of outdoor space for the heat pump. We place it away from bedrooms and neighbouring houses and look at whether to use it for summer cooling too.
In areas such as Montmar, Bellamar and Les Botigues, a heat pump needs its own electrical circuit from the consumer unit. We run it to REBT standards, protect the unit with its own breaker and RCD, and review the contracted power with you before start-up.
At the visit we look at the boiler, emitters and insulation and give you a detailed written quote; a site manager coordinates the plumbing and electrical work. We also work in nearby areas: Gavà, Viladecans and Sitges.

Frequently asked questions
01Air-source heat pump installation in Castelldefels: which areas do you cover?
We work in Castelldefels in areas such as Centre, El Castell – Poble Vell, Muntanyeta, Vista Alegre, Can Vinader, Can Roca, Els Canyars and Montmar, and also nearby: Gavà, Viladecans and Sitges.
02Will my current radiators work with a heat pump?
It depends on their size and on the insulation. A heat pump runs at a lower temperature than a boiler, so at the visit we check whether the radiators give enough heat or some should be replaced.
03Can a heat pump be installed in a flat?
Yes, if there is a terrace, a large balcony or a roof for the outdoor unit and room for the hot water cylinder. We assess it at the visit.
04What happens to the old boiler?
We disconnect and remove it, and leave the water connections ready for the new system.
