Fitted wardrobes in Cassà de la Selva: what we look at in the space
In 1960s to 80s flats in areas such as Mas Cubell and Mas Prat there are often built-in masonry wardrobes with old doors that can be reused. If the recess is sound we replace only the doors and interior; if not, we rebuild it with a new made-to-measure carcass.
On wardrobes we fit in areas such as Llebrers de Dalt, Llebrers de Baix and Matamala we first level the carcass on the actual floor, not the skirting, and fix it to wall and ceiling. Only then do we hang the doors and adjust the tracks so they slide quietly.
More than 20 years building wardrobes helps us deal with awkward spaces; a site manager coordinates partition, fitting and lighting, and the quote is in writing. We also cover nearby areas: Santa Cristina d'Aro, Llagostera and Caldes de Malavella.

Frequently asked questions
01Fitted wardrobe installation in Cassà de la Selva: which areas do you cover?
We do this work in Cassà de la Selva, in areas such as Mas Cubell, Mas Prat, Llebrers de Dalt, Llebrers de Baix, Matamala, Sangosta, Verneda and Esclet, and also nearby: Santa Cristina d'Aro, Llagostera and Caldes de Malavella. Before starting we visit the property and prepare a detailed written quote.
02Sliding or hinged doors?
Sliding doors need no room to open and suit tighter bedrooms. Hinged doors show the whole interior at once and blend more neatly into the wall.
03Can a fitted wardrobe go where there is no alcove?
Yes. We build the recess with a plasterboard partition or by closing off a corner, then fit the wardrobe inside. We plan it during the visit around the bedroom layout.
04How deep does a fitted wardrobe need to be?
Around 60 cm to hang clothes comfortably. With less depth, pull-out front rails work, or the wardrobe can be given over to shelving.
