Painting ceilings in Cardedeu: common problems and fixes
In flats in areas such as La Creu, La Riera and El Poble-sec, where winters are cold, condensation stains appear on ceilings near the external wall. We treat those patches with stain-blocking primer and breathable paint, and advise on ventilation to keep them from returning.
In areas such as L'Estalvi and La Granada decorative plaster ceilings with cornices are repaired before painting: we seal the joint with the wall, fill cracks and brush the mouldings. The flat surface is rollered for an even finish.
On the visit we look at the height, the type of ceiling and the cause of any stains, then send you a detailed written quote. We also paint ceilings in nearby areas: Les Franqueses del Vallès, La Roca del Vallès and Llinars del Vallès.

Frequently asked questions
01Ceiling painting in Cardedeu: which areas do you cover?
We do this work in Cardedeu, in areas such as La Creu, La Riera, El Poble-sec, L'Estalvi, La Granada, Bellavista, Les Canyes and Can Corbella, and also nearby: Les Franqueses del Vallès, La Roca del Vallès and Llinars del Vallès. Before starting we visit the property and prepare a detailed written quote.
02Can you paint a ceiling with damp stains?
Yes, once the leak has been fixed and the ceiling is dry. We apply a stain-blocking primer and then the finishing paint so the mark does not come back.
03Why use a special paint for ceilings?
Matt ceiling paint reflects less of the low-angle light from windows and lamps, so roller marks and irregularities in the plaster do not show.
04Do you paint ceilings with plaster cornices?
Yes. We fill cracks in the plasterwork, seal the joint with the wall and paint the mouldings by brush so the detail is not lost.
