Mechanical ventilation in Cardedeu: what we find in homes
In detached and terraced houses in areas such as La Creu, La Riera and El Poble-sec there is usually more room: the unit fits in the loft, the garage or a plant cupboard, and the ducts spread through the ceiling of each floor. Where fields and trees are close by, pollen filters make a real difference.
In areas such as L'Estalvi and La Granada we keep the fresh-air intake apart from the stale-air exhaust so they never mix, and insulate any ducts crossing cold spaces to prevent condensation. With silencers and low fan speeds, the system is barely audible in the bedrooms.
We visit the property, measure the rooms and give you a detailed written quote; a site manager coordinates the installation and we leave everything clean. We also install ventilation in nearby areas: Les Franqueses del Vallès, La Roca del Vallès and Llinars del Vallès.

Frequently asked questions
01Mechanical ventilation installation in Cardedeu: which areas do you cover?
We do this work in Cardedeu, in areas such as La Creu, La Riera, El Poble-sec, L'Estalvi, La Granada, Bellavista, Les Canyes and Can Corbella, and also nearby: Les Franqueses del Vallès, La Roca del Vallès and Llinars del Vallès. Before starting we visit the property and prepare a detailed written quote.
02What is the difference between single-flow and balanced systems?
A single-flow system extracts air from the kitchen and bathrooms, and fresh air comes in through trickle vents in the windows. A balanced system supplies and extracts through ducts and, with heat recovery, reuses the warmth of the outgoing air.
03Is mechanical ventilation noisy?
Properly sized, it runs at low speed and is barely audible. We place the unit away from the bedrooms and use suitable ducts and silencers.
04Will I still need to open the windows?
Not to renew the air: the system does that continuously. You can open them whenever you like, but you no longer depend on it.
