Frameless glass curtain
Toughened glass panels with no vertical profiles that stack to one side.

Aluminium sliding system
Thermally broken profiles and double glazing if you want more insulation.

Enclosing a terrace in Cardedeu: which system fits
In 1960s to 80s flats in areas such as La Creu, La Riera and El Poble-sec, the enclosure usually sits on the existing balustrade. We check it is firm and well anchored; if not, we replace it with a profile or low wall that can carry the enclosure's weight.
If you want to keep out cold and noise, in areas such as L'Estalvi and La Granada we suggest thermally broken aluminium sliders with double glazing. We use a sub-frame or direct fixing to suit the support and seal with neutral silicone inside and out.
On the visit we measure the terrace and give you a detailed written quote; a site manager coordinates the fitting and we leave the terrace tidy. We also work in nearby areas: Les Franqueses del Vallès, La Roca del Vallès and Llinars del Vallès.

Frequently asked questions
01Terrace enclosure installation in Cardedeu: which areas do you cover?
We do this work in Cardedeu, in areas such as La Creu, La Riera, El Poble-sec, L'Estalvi, La Granada, Bellavista, Les Canyes and Can Corbella, and also nearby: Les Franqueses del Vallès, La Roca del Vallès and Llinars del Vallès. Before starting we visit the property and prepare a detailed written quote.
02What is the difference between a glass curtain and a sliding system?
A glass curtain has no vertical profiles and the whole thing folds to one side, so in summer the terrace is almost fully open. An aluminium sliding system closes more tightly and insulates more against cold and noise, but the profiles always remain visible.
03Will it stand up to wind on a penthouse or seafront terrace?
Yes, provided the system and glass thickness are chosen for that exposure. At the visit we assess height, orientation and supports, and factor them into the quote.
04Can a terrace with an existing balustrade be enclosed?
Yes. Depending on its condition, the enclosure is fixed on top of the balustrade or the balustrade is replaced by a low wall or bottom profile that acts as a base.
