How we replace consumer units in Calonge i Sant Antoni
In houses on residential estates in areas such as Calonge and Puigtavell, there is often a main board in the house and a sub-board in the garage or garden shed. We replace both, coordinate their RCDs so a fault outside does not black out the whole house, and label each one.
In areas such as Sant Antoni de Calonge and Torre Valentina, we split the board across several RCDs so a fault in the bathroom or kitchen does not cut power to the whole home. The fridge and router usually go on a separate group from the rest.
With over 20 years in electrical installations, we replace the board methodically and leave the hallway clean and tidy. Nearby areas we also cover: Palamós, Platja d'Aro and Santa Cristina d'Aro.

It cuts the supply when a voltage spike arrives from the grid or a storm, protecting the fridge, boiler, computer and other connected equipment.
