What changes with a new waste system
In houses on developments in areas such as Capaspre and Les Roques the system runs out to a manhole in the garden, often through old concrete pipes with roots in them. We inspect and clean the manhole and renew the run to it in PVC with accessible rodding points.
In areas such as Dalt de Calella, Sant Quirze and Valldengulí we remove the drum trap and lead and fit PVC waste pipe with solvent-welded joints and clips that hold it without vibration. Every fixture gets its own trap, so one blockage no longer affects the whole bathroom.
